Battlestar Galactica: Adventures 3 & 4 (1979)

L83/2 — L96/10

The next three sets are all second printings, so the transfer sheets have "L96" serial numbers in blue ink in addition to the original "L83" serial numbers in black.

There are a couple of changes to the card, as well; firstly, very noticeably at the bottom left of the front cover, text has been heavily redacted in blocks of black ink.

Exactly what has been redacted it is difficult to say, but it probably has to do with the copyright notices which now appear printed on the hand, at the bottom right of the front cover. My guess is that for the first printing, the copyright text was not quite to the liking of the rights holder (Universal City Studios Inc.), or there had been a slight alteration to their preferred wording between editions.

The other change is an addendum to the text on the right-hand side of the background; this reads:

"Reference to Skyler should read Apollo."

Oops.
